Wholesale Policies

These wholesale policies apply exclusively to orders placed with Mitala Candle Co. via mitalacandleco.com. Orders placed through third-party platforms like Faire are subject to different minimums, shipping rates, and return policies.

ORDERING & PAYMENT

  • Initial Order Minimum: $350
  • Reorder Minimum: $350
    Orders that do not meet the minimums will not be processed.
  • Set Size: Each scent is sold in sets of 4. Your order quantity will be based on this set size.
  • Invoice Payment: Payment is due within 72 hours of receiving the order confirmation. Payments can be securely processed via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Amex) or PayPal once the order request is approved.
  • Made-to-Order: All our candles are made to order, and production begins immediately once payment is received.

LEAD TIME

  • Average Lead Time: 10-14 business days (subject to seasonal fluctuations, order volume, and supply chain conditions).
  • Rush Orders: A rush fee of 15% of the total order price will apply for expedited processing. Please contact us to confirm if expedited processing is feasible.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $1000 qualify for free shipping within the contiguous U.S. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories).
  • Local Delivery: We offer free local delivery for orders over $500 within Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Orders below $500 will be shipped via UPS Ground at standard rates.
  • U.S. Shipping Rates: Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and destination, and will be clearly stated on your invoice. We primarily ship via UPS Ground.
  • International Shipping: We ship internationally via UPS Worldwide. Customers are responsible for any customs duties and fees. Mitala Candle Co. is not liable for delays caused by customs processing.
  • Lost or Stolen Packages: Mitala Candle Co. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered. We recommend shipping to a secure location.

We offer tealight samples upon request. If you'd like to experience our scents before placing an order, please email us at wholesale@mitalacandleco.com with your shipping address, and we’ll send you a Discovery Set.

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All Sales Are Final: We do not accept returns or exchanges.
  • Order Cancellations: No cancellations are accepted once payment is processed, as production begins immediately and all products are made to order.
  • Damaged or Shortage Claims: Notify us within 5 days of receiving your order if items are damaged or missing. Include photos and your order number. After review, we will either send replacements or issue credit (excluding shipping and handling fees).
